Privacy notice

What we collect through this website and our hosted service, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Draft. This notice was drafted from how the website and the product work. It must be reviewed by a lawyer, and the details in square brackets filled in, before it's relied on.

Who we are

This website and Divjyot ONE are run by Statistyx SolutionIT LLC ("we", "us"), [registered address]. To ask about this notice or your data, use our contact form or email support@statistyxsit.com.

This website

What you send us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, work email, organisation, and optionally your phone number, the size of your estate and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to follow up on what you asked about. Our basis for this is your request (and, where it applies, our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our product).

No tracking. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies' servers.

Server logs. Like any website, the servers that host it (GoDaddy) record each request: your IP address, the page, the time and your browser's description of itself. These logs are kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting, for [period].

How long. We keep your messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any relationship that follows, then delete them.

Divjyot ONE Cloud, our hosted service

Our customers' data. When an organisation uses Divjyot ONE Cloud, the data they put in it, including their people's names, email addresses and activity, belongs to them. We process it on their behalf and on their instructions, as their processor, under our agreement with them. Questions about that data are best asked of the organisation that uses Divjyot ONE.

Signing up. When someone signs up for a hosted workspace, we keep their name, email address and organisation. A sign-up that isn't confirmed or paid for is deleted 30 days after its link expires; a completed one stays with its workspace.

Billing. Payments are handled by Stripe, which receives card details directly and keeps them as its own controller of that data. We never see card numbers. We keep the billing contact's email address.

Email. Our emails (sign-up confirmations, invitations, sign-in links) are sent through Amazon Web Services. We keep a record of each email's address and subject for 30 days; the body, with any link in it, is deleted as soon as it's sent.

Where it's kept. Hosted customers' data stays in the region they're hosted in: the United States, for now. Backups of a customer's database are kept for 35 days, also after they leave.

Who else receives personal data

  • Amazon Web Services: hosting Divjyot ONE Cloud and sending its email.
  • Stripe: payments for hosted subscriptions.
  • GoDaddy: hosting this website and delivering the contact form's messages.

We don't sell personal data, or share it for advertising.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it, and you can complain to your data protection authority. Ask through our contact form; we'll answer within the time the law sets. If your data is in an organisation's Divjyot ONE workspace, we'll pass your request to them.

Children

This website and our service are for organisations, not for children.

Changes

If we change this notice, we'll update the date above. For significant changes affecting hosted customers, we'll tell them first.
