Yes. Both are built from the same release, so we can move you from one to the other with your data.
Each customer has an application instance, database, storage, encryption key and secrets of their own. On Standard, the database server is shared, but each customer's database can be opened only with that customer's own logins. On Dedicated, the database server and machines are yours alone. Yes. We copy your database to a server of your own during a short maintenance window, and your web address stays the same.
Hosted customers' data stays in the region they're hosted in, backups included: the United States first, with India planned next. On-premises, it stays wherever you run it.
